Chris Manheim Appointed to IL NCRC Advocates Steering Committee

Chris Manheim, President of Manheim Solutions, Inc., has recently been appointed to the Illinois NCRC Advocates “Skill Up Illinois’ Workforce” Steering Committee. The WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate is now earned by every graduating high school student across Illinois thanks to the work of Illinois NCRC Advocates. The Steering Committee consists of members from manufacturing, higher education and other businesses from across Illinois.

Every employer now has a national benchmark that measures the core skills: Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information and Locating Information. The skill levels are identified as Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum certificates. For example, the holder of a Silver Certificate has the foundational skills necessary for most jobs.
