Examinee Responsibilities
Examinees are expected to:
- Secure an Appropriate Testing Environment: Choose a quiet, well-lit space free from interruptions.
- Ensure Technical Compliance: Verify that equipment meets the necessary specifications for remote proctoring. Testers should perform a system check prior to test day. See the ProctorU Equipment Requirements for more details.
Be Prepared for Exam Day:
- Review the Five Steps to Success for remote proctoring before test day.
- Have a government-issued ID or other institution-permitted ID.
- Choose a test location in a private, well-lit room with no one else in it.
- Clear your workspace of all materials except those allowed by your instructor.
- Remove any watches, earbuds, headphones, and non-religious head coverings.
- Make sure your computer passed the equipment test, and the Guardian Secure Browser is installed (Download it here).
- Close all third-party programs and unplug any secondary monitors.
IMPORTANT:Have your Validus username and password with you; they will be required to launch your exam.

Examinees who earn an ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate can access test scores as well as view, print, and share their certificate by either creating an account or accessing an existing account at myworkkeys.com
